Unlike other services Digiprove is totally confidential; file upload is not required.
You can begin immediately with just a few clicks of your mouse. If you have access to the internet and an e-mail account, you can use this service. Once you have created valuable content, you want to be free to promote it without having to trust every person who might have access to it as an email attachment, on a web-site or any digital medium.
By Digiproving, you are creating a trail of evidence that protects your creation. You can then freely promote and communicate your ideas with colleagues, customers and third parties without fear.
Step by Step
- You select a file on your computer with the content you wish to Digiprove. This can even be a zip file with lots of content, for instance a photographer could Digiprove hundreds of images in one step. Alternatively, you can install Digiprove Autoprotect on your computer and it will automatically select new or changed files.
- The “digital fingerprint” of the content will be calculated by the Digiprove system. This can be used later to uniquely identify your file. Your file does not need to be uploaded to our servers so you can be absolutely certain of confidentiality.
- You will receive by email a Digiprove certificate that you are in possession of the file with this fingerprint.
That’s all there is to it. As long as you retain a copy of your original file you will be able to prove absolutely and irrefutably in future that you had possession of this digital content.
